Goat Milk Frozen Yogurt

Goat milk gives frozen yogurt an extra special tang, but it's enhanced and sweetened with honey and walnuts.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz plain goat milk yogurt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp light corn syrup
  • ¼ tsp lemon juice
  • tsp salt
  • honey
  • walnuts

Instructions

  • Bring the sugar and water to a boil. Whisk until sugar dissolves. Set aside to cool completely, or put in a container in the fridge to cool.
  • Once the simple syrup is cooled, mix the simple syrup, corn syrup, yogurt, lemon juice, and salt together in a large bowl until thoroughly combined. 
  • Pour into prepared ice cream maker and let it process per manufacturer's instructions until it's a frozen yogurt consistency.
  • Decant into plastic containers and freeze overnight.
  • To serve, top with a drizzle of honey and sprinkle of walnuts as desired.
