October was a slow month here on the blog like September was but I picked my pace back up towards the end, both in life and in the kitchen! So this October roundup is a bit shorter than usual but it does include fantastic nature shots.
Cooking
Creepy Halloween Matcha Shortbread Cookies
and finally, I reviewed Weeknight Baking by Michelle Lopez. It's a strong book for anyone who likes or wants to like baking.
Travel
The only place I went this month was Marshall, North Carolina during the last weekend of the month. It is PEAK LEAF!
And speaking of more gorgeous nature, the sunsets have been absolutely amazing including this completely unedited (except for size) photo of the sunset as taken from Black Rooster in West Columbia.
Everything Else
Getting my business going is happening in spurts. I felt like I was going turbo speed, then a lull of very boring tasks, including making my new Social Graces Media website. If anyone needs social media marketing in Columbia, SC, hit me UP!
Sadly, the time changes this weekend and it's going to be dark insanely early. But before we know it, it'll be time to put up Christmas lights, which makes up for the darkness. When do you put up your Christmas decor? Doing it the day after Thanksgiving really only allows for a good month of it, which doesn't seem like nearly enough.
