Alternate title: Semi-wordless Wednesday
Around here, when the fruit or vegetables are ripe, they are all ripe at once. People with fruit trees or vegetable vines get sick of eating pounds upon pounds of the same thing, so they get unloaded onto unsuspecting friends or family members. I do what I can do seem more “unsuspecting” and less “anticipating”.

This, more than anything, is the best part of summertime in the South. Who wouldn’t want to be among beautiful, fresh, local food every day like this?
