Does anyone care what I did this weekend? Didn’t think so, but here are some gratuitous pictures of my cute doggie from our day at the lake yesterday.
Radar Love was a tired dog by the end of our lake day. Luckily I was able to power shower and revive my energy levels for dinner at Thirsty Fellow, then an unplanned celebration at the Roof Top bar at the Sheraton! We brought out the champagne and dealt with the louder than necessary for such a small space (hint if anyone at the Sheraton ever reads this) musical guest. It was a great night, and I am so happy we got to share in the ecstatic glow of my bff and soon-to-be Mr. bff!
I kept hydrated because I was having to drive husband’s huge Buick station wagon around that night because he decided that I… needed to for some reason. Who knows. I even parallel parked it, and that’s all I got to say about that. I tried to take a lovely picture of Columbia from 17 stories above the city, but I think that’s a task better left to the Canon and a less crowded weeknight.
Today was dedicated to seeing Bad Teacher (I liked it- worth the matinee price at least!), getting groceries, and making this lasagna. I am a huge fan, though it does take about two and a half hours worth of work to get it from ingredients to belly. A definite Sunday afternoon recipe if there ever was one.
Mmm, check out that colorful dish. Red, orange, yellow, green, purple… can’t beat eating the rainbow! (<-Today I Ate A Rainbow, haha).
And that’s that. Tomorrow is Monday, and it’s a week leading up to a three day weekend! Got to love it.
